is this a good diet/exercise regimen? tips? help?
breakfast- fat free yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, and some special k- 200 calories
lunch- 1/2 flatbread wrap with 1 slice of turkey and some lettuce, and 1 cup of strawberries and a calcium chocolate- 150-200 calories
snack- 1 apple with 1/2 tbsp of pb- 150 calories
dinner- 1 cup of baked pasta and a small side salad- 300-350 calories
dessert- 1 banana with 1 tbsp of pb and some other fruit- 200 calories
exercise- 20 minutes of cardio/strength interval training, 30 minutes of a CardioSculptBurn dvd (25 minutes of aerobics/pilates/lower-upper body toning), 20 minutes of thighs and buns yoga, and 1 hour of a softball pitching lesson (if that counts)
^my exercise will usually be 20-30 minuts of cardio, then 20 minutes of pilates or toning, and then depending on the day at least 90 minutes of a dance class
how did i do? any tips? i tryed to get to 1200 calories but i dont think i did…. i am trying to increase my calories more and more each day till i get to 1200 because for the past 2 weeks or so i only had 800 a day.. so im doing better i think. what do you think?
also, is this a good idea for lunch?- 1 serving of pretzels with 1 tbsp of hummus and 3/4 cup of canteloupe and 1/4 cup of blueberries
is that okay?

cut out the turkey, that’s bad…. why are we eating enhanced foods? that’s useless garbage.
more fresh fruits and veggies.. lesser chemically impacted processed foods.

Hey, it all sounds healthy. But the thing is when i visited my doc, he told me that any food high in carbs arent good for you especially after 5 in the evening.
your exercise routine sounds great.
Just remember, carbs are a great source of energy if your learning to climb mount everest…
and also, a diet isnt something which happens for a while, its a lifestyle change which means you cant just stop after 6 months, or so.. you gotta have something which you can adapt too and live with for the rest of your life!

Yeah the food doesn’t sound bad, but try to have fresh fruit such as an apple or banana in the morning instead of the special k. I found out recently that all the sticky stuff holding it together is all sugar based stuff so it isn’t that good for you, but I still eat them sometimes so you aren’t doing anything wrong. You are only having 1100 calories a day with this diet, so I would eat a little more for lunch and maybe your snacks, but you are doing great congrats. So eat just a little more and have more fresh fruit and veggies. You are on the right path, goood luck!
