About Going Fat Free
I’m Alex Rich and I welcome you to Going Fat Free. Most of my life I have coached individuals in my private practice as a hypnotherapist specializing in weight loss and personal development. During that experience I learned dozens of approaches for helping people reach healthy goals in their focus on losing excess weight.
Today, more than ever, weight loss coaching and information is greatly needed on a world wide basis. Doctors recently announced the results of more than 15 years of research. The finding is that one in four adults is obese, which relates to being more than 20 pounds over their healthy weight.
It is my hope, and my passion that you will find a large enough variety of ideas, tips, recipes and even exercises, if you are so inclined… enough to keep you motivated and moving forward toward your weight loss goals.

“….I have just two rules to share that I’ve always set for my private practice clients:
1. Let go of guilt! All of us who are challenged with controlled our weight will “fall off the wagon” from time to time. My personal observations over the years show that more pounds are gained due to guilt than from eating a couple of quarts of Chunky Monkey (I just revealed my weakness).
2. Stay away from diets! 89% of those who start a diet will fail to lose weight. 98% of them will gain more weight and become heavier than their pre-diet weight.
If you’re a “binge” eater, that’s an all together different issue than you’re aware of and diets will definitely cause you to gain weight. Please Google “binge eating” and check with your doctor if this matches your habits.”
